What You'll Do.

Supervising a team of specialized Settlement Custodians

Ensuring Platform Clients day-to-day Physical trade matching & settlement obligations are managed effectively

Ensuring accurate safekeeping of Assets

Vetting all requests for Inbound & Outbound positions against trade tickets and correctly processing them

Balancing & processing of Cash entries

Processing of daily TDR (Term Deposit Receipts)

Release of associated outbound BESS wire payments

Control of asset movements within and outside of PSS via System reports & proprietary Security In Transit (SIT) asset tracker

Ensure error free asset management of all designated and supported Physical settlement activities

Provide daily oversight on asset movement ensuring all actions are controlled & timely executed

Effective utilization of FTE resources towards maintaining a self-supporting Unit

Performs a daily review of all assigned TLM breaks

with focus on resolution within 3 days and in accordance to CASS requirements

Ensures daily TDR processing is effectively controlled to ensure zero E&O’s

Reviews all direct reports DOP’s to ensure desk effectiveness

Updating Unit Policies & Procedures (PPL)

Day-to-day contact with Clients

External Industry participants and Internal RBCIS departments to provide &/or resolve trade managing issues/problems

Reviews system reports and Proprietary systems to ensure records are accurate and effective for daily status reporting

**_Job Description_** **What is the opportunity?** This role will be supporting RBC Investor Services (IS) where the incumbent will be responsible for supervising a team of specialized Settlement Custodians to ensure all Platform Clients day-to-day Physical trade matching & settlement obligations is being managed effectively. Primary focus is ensuring accurate safekeeping of Assets and ensuring all requests for Inbound & Outbound positions are vetted against trade tickets and correctly processed, as per Policies/Procedures. To balancing & processing of Cash entries, especially those connected to daily TDR (Term Deposit Receipts) and the release of associated outbound BESS wire payments. The incumbent is also responsible for the control of asset movements within and outside of PSS via System reports & proprietary Security In Transit (SIT) asset tracker. **What will you do?** * Ensure error free asset management of all designated and supported Physical settlement activities, within Physical Security Services (PSS). * Provide daily oversight on asset movement ensuring all actions are controlled & timely executed in accordance to Physical settlement Policies & procedures. * Effective utilization of FTE resources towards maintaining a self-supporting Unit to effectively cover for scheduled and unscheduled staffing requirements & volume swings. * Performs a daily review of all assigned TLM breaks, with focus on resolution within 3 days and in accordance to CASS requirements * Will attend weekly TLM Management Meetings * Ensures daily TDR processing is effectively controlled to ensure zero E&O’s due to not following stringent procedures. * Reviews all direct reports DOP’s to ensure desk effectiveness, along with updating Unit Policies & Procedures (PPL) on or before their respective due-dates. * Will have day-to-day contact with Clients, External Industry participants and Internal RBCIS departments to provide &/or resolve trade managing issues/problems. * Will attend (when
