Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Analyze payer coverage, reimbursement policies, and access dynamics across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid channels, identifying barriers such as prior authorizations, step edits, and denials and quantifying their impact on patient access. Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor key performance indicators including time-to-fill, approval rates, therapy persistence, utilization trends, and adherence patterns. Translate claims, hub, and patient services data into clear insights and strategic recommendations that support payer strategy, field reimbursement, and leadership decision-making. Partner with IT and data engineering teams to improve data infrastructure, reporting automation, data quality, and cross-system consistency. Support payer contracting and pricing teams through scenario modeling, performance evaluation, and assessment of agreement impacts on access and financial outcomes. Serve as the primary liaison with external data vendors and claims providers, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and usability. Lead cross-functional analytical initiatives and business planning cycles, including quarterly reviews and long-range planning, delivering timely and actionable insights. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biopharma analytics, preferably within market access, payer analytics, or commercial operations roles. Strong expertise in healthcare data ecosystems, including claims, specialty pharmacy, hub data, and industry datasets such as IQVIA or similar sources. Advanced proficiency in Excel, with additional experience in tools such as Alteryx, SAS, and/or Power BI highly preferred.
