What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a similar discipline, Minimum of seven (7+) years of experience in accounting for an upstream oil and gas company with at least three (3+) of those in the operations accounting function, Five (5+) or more years of experience in progressive accounting or tax leadership roles, working knowledge of oil and gas accounting and general accounting principles, time management and project management skills, analytical, problem solving, and collaborative skills, Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, Familiarity with internal controls, principles, and practices
Nice to Have
CPA certification, SAP or large ERP experience, Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, Minimum of ten (10+) years of relevant experience with an Oil and Gas upstream company preferred with at least seven (7+) of those in an operations-facing function
