Job Summary The Manager of Secretaries manages the overall operations of the Support Services Department and the day-to-day delivery of secretarial and administrative support services to clients. Job Responsibilities Oversees the Support Services Department and takes an active role in planning and implementing departmental goals and objectives with the assistance of the Support Services Supervisor. Meets regularly with the Support Services Supervisor to monitor workflow of all department staff, ensuring the most appropriate resources are utilized, customer needs met, and adequate coverage/support is provided. Conducts regular follow-up communications with customers regarding service quality. Continually evaluates and improves existing and new programs and services to increase cost-effectiveness, quality and efficient use of resources. Provides oversight in the maintenance of the Support Services Intranet page. Reviews monthly metrics for integration, tracks trends, and recommends changes as appropriate. Reviews and approves attorney/secretary assignments. Supervises and develops Client Services Secretaries and members of the ASG. Evaluates staff training and development needs and implements programs to address the needs.
