What They're Looking For.
Must Have
8+ years of SAP BASIS experience, A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, understanding of GxP, FDA regulations, SOX/ITGC compliance, and system validation practices, Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Nice to Have
3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role, SAP certifications in BASIS and/or Integration technologies, Exposure to medical device manufacturing systems and validation protocols

Architect Complex Role Structures: Design and maintain advanced security models (Single
Derived) within S/4HANA

Full Cycle GRC: Manage the end-to-end configuration and operational health of SAP GRC Access Control (10. x/12. 0)
Continuous Compliance: Proactively monitor for SOD (Segregation of Duties) conflicts
Design and implement mitigation controls where business process requirements override standard risk rules
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external audit teams regarding SAP operations and GRC controls
Develop and execute remediation plans to address audit findings or identified control gaps within strict timelines
Design and implement integration solutions between SAP and other enterprise systems using API-based solutions
and other middleware platforms
Collaborate with functional teams to ensure seamless data flow between SAP and external systems
Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues

Act as a technical advisor for SAP architecture decisions impacting compliance and scalability

## Description As a Manager of SAP BASIS and Security at Penumbra, you will play a critical role in deploying capabilities to meet the company's near and long term goals. You will oversee the SAP technical landscape within a regulated medical device environment. This role demands deep expertise in SAP BASIS administration and integration technologies, along with strong leadership capabilities to guide a team of technical professionals and collaborate cross-functionally across business and IT units. You will be the go-to expert for ensuring system stability, performance, and seamless integration across SAP and non-SAP platforms. This role is pivotal in ensuring secure, compliant, and integrated SAP operations that support critical business functions such as manufacturing, quality control, and regulatory reporting. What You’ll Work On SAP BASIS Leadership • Select, manage, train, and develop staff.
