What They're Looking For.

Must Have

5 years' experience in sales, account management and customer service required, A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required

Nice to Have

Bachelor’s Degree preferred, 4 years experience working with national accounts, co-ops and/or buying groups preferred, 2 years experience working in the building materials industry desired, 2 years experience leading and managing others preferred

What You'll Do.

develop and maintain national accounts

increase business among existing clients

promote the organization to new clients

lead and manage Associate National Account Managers

Manage the entire Lowe’s negotiate and maintain buying agreements

Develop new business with existing customers and/or identify areas of improvement to exceed sales quotas

Forecast sales of products with inventory team

and analyze logistical data

Align initiatives across internal Lowe’s divisions to direct overall growth including marketing spend

point of sales data and shipping

Manage buying shows including coordinating booth layout

staffing and product and program sales

Work with marketing to develop sales and merchandising collateral

Analyze sales data with product management to develop new programs

Coordinate national accounts activities with the branch National Accounts Regional Managers (NARMs)

Retail Sales Representatives (RSR’s)

Assist with training national accounts staff and branch sales team on how to sell and maintain national account retailers

motivate and direct employees using effective performance management techniques

including establishing expectations and goals

providing recognition and feedback

and addressing performance problems

and develop employees according to their unique interests and strengths

Empower employees to take responsibility for their career and performance

Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback

Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members and the organization

Develop and maintain planograms in conjunction with the branch teams

Work with branch inside sales management and staff to ensure customer service expectations are exceeded

Coordinate customer service activities

including third party organizations
