Must Have
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering, Experience managing people, projects, or programs, Experience in hardware manufacturing, Proven experience and successful track record of developing new manufacturing processes and continuously improving existing processes, Ability to operate, make decisions, lead, and make forward progress in ambiguous environments, Understanding of entire product lifecycle management, 7+ years of direct manufacturing and manufacturing engineering experience, Proficiency in engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing, Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately at all levels of the organization, U. S. citizen or national, U. S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U. S. as a refugee or granted asylum

What You'll Do.
Enable success of high-impact Manufacturing Engineers
Ensure workflow and priorities are balanced
Evaluate staffing requirements and grow the team
Coordinate and work closely with program managers
Support team in applying engineering fundamentals

Help team define hardware preparation for test
Promote DFMA and PFMEA studies
Engage in BOM creation and maintenance

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. **Job Profile:** Manager - Mission and Flight OPs (Launch Operations) \--- This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Launch Operations, Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. You will work with innovative processes for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of manufacturing engineering. Day to day responsibilities will include the Manufacturing Plan Development, managing all Work Order Authoring, and provide Mentoring and Career Path Development to your enrolled employees. We put a strong emphasis on design for manufacturing and hands-on technical ability, as our managers are directly involved with design, analysis, equipment operation, trouble-shooting, and active engagement with engineering.
