Eligibility Requirements

Ability to work any shift and support overtime based on the business requirements, 4-5 days per week in the office, regular in-person meetings and events, convene with Scout colleagues in person, travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Minimum of 8 years of experience in automotive assembly, Finish (End of Line), at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role, Bachelor’s degree in engineering in automotive technology, Manufacturing, or related field, Assembly, Wheel Alignment, Roll Booth, Water test, ASAS commissioning, understanding of pre-series builds, Finish (End of Line), and the automotive production process, Hands on experience with assembly tools, jigs and fixtures in manufacturing setting, Experience developing production systems and technology, A working knowledge of Planning, Assembly Operations, and Logistics, knowledge of continuous improvement systems, such as TPS, VPS, and Lean Manufacturing principles

Nice to Have

An equivalent amount of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

What You'll Do.

Supports all aspects of production processes including safety

drives successful implementation of Scout’s Production System processes and standards

Help lead assembly from development phase through SOP on New Models

Drive Problem Solving activities and innovation in assembly

lead root cause analysis on issues in assembly

Support with change management initiatives in assembly

drive workforce engagement

and provide coaching and feedback to all employees

Ensure compliance in all audit initiatives and all areas of the operations

Manage resources to support project completion of lean projects

Drive launch and mid-cycle action activities

and raising the bar on quality and product safety

Monitor launch curve attainment for new programs and establish PDCA as needed

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Collaborate with other departments and areas to include maintenance, quality, industrial engineers, programmers etc.; interface with various levels of employees and management within all areas of the Plant; build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers

Communication Scope

Great Verbal and non-verbal communicator; listener; Excellent interpersonal skills

Process & Methodology
