What You'll Do.
Manages the accounting
management reporting and financial analysis processes for the Company's invested asset portfolio.
Implements and updates accounting and reporting policies and procedures in support of Statutory
and SEC regulatory reporting requirements.
Manages accounting staff.
Manages financial analysis and management reporting for the invested asset portfolio.
Manages the compilation and reconciliation of investment income
capital gain/losses and cash available for investment.
Manages the consolidation of affiliated entity financial results and preparation of financial statements and footnote disclosures.
Manages the delivery of audit documentation and provides support to internal and external auditors.
interprets and implements applicable accounting guidance
pronouncements and SEC and other regulatory requirements.
Supports budget and forecasting activities.
Maintains relationships with external service providers
custodians and investment manager.
Provides performance metrics and analysis/input of their continued use
Manages staff and is accountable for personnel actions including hiring
performance and salary reviews
disciplinary action and firing.
Provides direction and guidance to associates and coordinates training
both on-the-job and through formal training opportunities.
Completes ad hoc reports and requests for senior management.
