Offered Position: Manager III, Tech Infra Prog Mgr Job Location: Herndon, Virginia Job Number: AMZ9673828 Position Responsibilities: Plan data center capacity, including rack retirements and migrations based on infrastructure needs. Plan for network requirements per site for order planning and network reserve. Plan and initiate dedicated spine builds, intercept builds and resizing per the recommended planning values. Intercept builds for emerging customer requirements and communicate changes per established process. Initiate and manage projects to meet power usage targets. Perform customer impact analysis. Work with supply chain and service owners to prioritize rack landings in constrained regions. Deep dive and communicate supply changes. Perform position inventory and build updates. Work with brick planners and network technical program managers on resolving position constraints. Position Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or as a program manager, project manager, or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to a Master’s degree and one year of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): (1) defining and implementing data-driven process improvement initiatives; (2) advanced knowledge of Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLookUps) and SQL; (3) working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
