Books Data Quality org: Our vision is for Amazon to be the most accurate source of book catalog data in the world. Books catalog attributes are the foundation of customer and author experiences and improving the accuracy of our catalog data enables us to build a delightful store that supports discovery, earns trust with our customers (and authors and publishers), and helps customers find their best next book. Reading Experience: We envision Kindle as the place where readers find the best manifestation of all written content optimized with features that enable them to get the most out of reading, and creators are able to realize their vision to customers quickly and at scale. This team will focus on improving the discovery & reading experience of books through data analysis and insights. You will be working with multiple product leaders in decision making by providing inputs on the insights and direction. Your team will be focusing on descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive insights. Basic Qualifications: - 7+ years of business intelligence and analytics experience - 5+ years of delivering results managing a business intelligence or analytics team, including employee development and performance management experience - Experience with SQL - Experience with ETL - Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools - Experience with R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab
