Business Area Wind is responsible for Vattenfall’s Onshore and Offshore Wind as well as other non-hydro Renewable activities like solar PV and batteries. Today we develop, construct and operate wind generation in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. In addition, we have a clear strategy to develop our solar PV and battery operations further. Vattenfall’s Operational Control Centre is a central part of our Business Unit Wind, Offshore, Generation. We monitor more than 1,500 wind turbines and provide support to all Vattenfall sites Onshore and Offshore within turbine monitoring, high-voltage control, and marine coordination – 24/7, all year round. Our goal is to ensure high availability and safe operations, enabling us to accelerate the transition to a fossil-free society together. We are now looking for a manager for our High Voltage Control Centre. What will you do? As Manager, you are responsible for managing country responsible persons of the electrical installations across Vattenfall wind. Ensuring safety for people & assets, and at the same time making sure Vattenfall adhere to the country specific rules – By that being compliant.
