We are looking for a manager for the Health and Safety (H&S) Program Management team who will be responsible for driving a strategic approach to delivering high-level programs for the AWS Safety team, strategic team leadership and development, setting and driving team vision and objectives, mentoring and growing program management talent, managing team performance management and career development The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated manager with a solid knowledge in program management as well as safety systems, and a proven track record of designing, deploying, and managing global programs. They will have a history of building partnerships with diverse teams across multiple jurisdictions. The candidate must have the ability define clear requirements in ambiguity, proactively educate team members, leaders, and other support teams, and communicate effectively and consistently throughout all levels of the business. The role will evolve with the maturity and growth of the programs and requires a high degree of flexibility, including the ability to deep dive into time critical programs and products, manage a team of program managers, and deliver continuous improvement actions.
