**[What the role is]** The job holder conducts field research, quantitative surveys, and technical analysis on illegal gambling. This work helps Tote Board build evidence-based strategies and engage stakeholders in countering illegal gambling. **[What you will be working on]** Your key responsibilities will include the following: **Survey Research & Data Analysis** * Design and run **quantitative surveys** to measure public awareness, attitudes, and behaviour related to gambling * Analyse survey data using **statistical methods** to identify trends and produce actionable findings * Manage the **full survey lifecycle** : questionnaire design, sampling, data collection, cleaning, analysis, and reporting * Prepare clear, well-structured **research reports and presentations** for management and stakeholders * Maintain and update **research databases** and tracking tools for ongoing monitoring **Field Research & Ground Sensing** * Conduct **face-to-face surveys and interviews with punters** and members of the public at street level and gambling venues * Gather ground intelligence on **illegal gambling activities** , including products, operations, and punter behaviour * Plan and execute **field operations** safely and systematically, including logistics, route planning, and data recording * Compile and submit **regular field monitoring reports** with key observations and findings **Stakeholder Engagement** * Build and maintain effective partnerships with **law enforcement, regulatory bodies, and community partners** * Facilitate information sharing to support joint efforts in countering illegal gambling * Coordinate with inter-agency counterparts on **research findings, ground intelligence, and operational matters** **Procedures & Compliance** * Review and improve **standard operating procedures** for field research, survey data collection, and reporting * Ensure all research and field activities comply with **data protection rules and ethical standards** **Secretariat &
