What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree or above in Audit, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field., Professional qualifications such as VACPA, ACCA, Australian CPA, or equivalents., 5 + years of external audit or assurance experience, with significant exposure to Chinese clients or China-related business environments, preferably knowledge of Chinese companies operating in Vietnam., Fluency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken).

What You'll Do.
Assume overall responsibility for teams of professionals delivering assurance services primarily to our portfolio of Chinese clients.
Deep engagement with the Chinese client segment
including audits and accounting advice services to existing and prospective Chinese-speaking clients.
Play key roles in assurance based projects’ delivery and business and practice development activities with Chinese speaking clients.
Represent and participate in the Chinese Business Network (CBN) teams in Vietnam and the region.
Act as Team Manager for assigned Chinese client portfolio/engagements.
Plan and execute the engagements with specific focus on Chinese clients and business environments.
Supervise the work of the engagement team in accordance with auditing standards and/or the firm’s required policies and methodology.
Be accountable to the engagement leader/partner on the required quality and the project’s delivery timelines.
Maintain and strengthen positive relationships with clients.
Contribute to build a business relationship with the Chinese business community.
Consolidate technical capability and sector-specific knowledge related to Chinese investors’ related industries.
Build a professional network within the Chinese business community in Hanoi and northern area.
Stay informed on Chinese industry sectors
and business practices.
Participate in proposals and emerging topics sharing to Chinese clients.
Support Assurance leadership in driving the people agenda with a focus on Chinese-speaking professionals.
Assist in performance evaluations and career development of team members familiar with or focused on the Chinese market.
