What You'll Achieve.
Ensuring accurate expense booking in Tally; Ensuring adherence to defined workflows; Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements; Ensuring maintenance of audit-ready documentation standards; Driving consistency and quality across geographically dispersed operations; Timely monthly book closures; Timely filing of state-level GST returns; Audit preparedness; Policy compliance; Consolidated MIS reports and dashboards covering state-wise expenses, book closure status, and compliance metrics
Industry & Context.
Identify capability gaps; Identify operational bottlenecks; Recommend improvements to workflows, SOPs, and financial processes
Willingness to travel up to approximately 4-5 days in a month of the time to state offices and field locations for reviews, training, and operational support, Applicants must be legally authorized to work in India, We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory, Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in finance operations, accounting, or compliance roles, Minimum 2 years of experience in managing geographically dispersed teams in a multi-location accounting environment, branch/intercompany accounting structures, understanding of Accounts Payable processes, monthly book closures, and Indian tax compliances including TDS and GST (including RCM provisions), working knowledge of Tally ERP, including ledger reviews, reconciliations, and financial reporting, Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for MIS reporting, reconciliations, and analytical reviews, Effective people management and coaching skills, particularly in remote team environments
Nice to Have
GST/Taxation certifications, ERP-related certifications, Familiarity with HRMS and expense management platforms such as KEKA
What You'll Do.
Manage and supervise 7–9 state-level Finance & Operations teams across India
Ensure accurate expense booking in Tally
Ensure adherence to defined workflows
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements
Ensure maintenance of audit-ready documentation standards
Drive consistency and quality across geographically dispersed operations
Conduct regular review meetings
and joint performance evaluations
Identify capability gaps and facilitate continuous capacity building
Review expense bookings processed by state teams
Monitor timely monthly book closures
Ensure appropriate deduction and deposit of TDS
Oversee accurate GST accounting
Track timely filing of state-level GST returns
Keep state finance teams informed of changes in tax regulations
Ensure adherence to prescribed documentation and digital filing protocols
Verify availability and completeness of supporting documents
Conduct periodic documentation reviews
Prepare consolidated MIS reports and dashboards
Serve as a coordination point between state teams and Head Office for payment-related queries and policy clarifications
Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend improvements to workflows
and financial processes

Team & Collaboration
Collaborate with State Program Managers and HO leadership in setting KRAs and performance expectations for state finance teams; Partner with high-caliber colleagues in an environment blending innovation, autonomy, and teamwork; Serve as a coordination point between state teams and Head Office for payment-related queries and policy clarifications
