Manager, Executive Communications - Financial Services We’re seeking an influential communicator who has experience writing high-quality and high-visibility content for executives, solving complex problems using creative communications techniques, leveraging data and technology to shape engagement strategies, and working in cross-functional teams to drive results. In Financial Services at Capital One, we believe internal and external communications go hand-in-hand. With an amazing employee culture, innovative business strategy and deep commitment to giving back to the community, we have a robust story to share with a variety of stakeholders. The thought leadership and communications strategy for our divisional president is an important part of how we organize, message and distribute this story across channels. In this role, you’ll lead communications efforts in a variety of channels, with an emphasis on internal executive communications, associate engagement communications and change management communications. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting internal communications for divisional/campus events, contribute to our regular survey deployment and analysis strategy, and execute both internal and external executive writing. If you’re a strategic thinker, planner and storyteller who merges writing and data to inspire others to think differently and empower them to act, you might be our next team member. We’re looking for someone with endless curiosity; who communicates concisely but thinks big; can work cross-functionally to solve complex business needs; and is a storyteller who writes with heart and an above-and-beyond attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be highly effective at navigating a matrix organization and influencing people by leveraging communications expertise, possess a knack for attacking complex problems, and have a keen ability to work within ambiguity and define the unknown.
