What They're Looking For.

Must Have

5–7 years of experience in Events, Marketing, Retail, or a related experience managing direct reports preferred, Proven track record planning and executing multi-channel, large-scale events from concept through post-event analysis

Nice to Have

Experience in retail, media, publishing, or hospitality considered a asset

What You'll Do.

Lead day-to-day execution of events program

Translate strategic vision into operational plans

Manage 2-3 event coordinators

Deliver events on time

Own end-to-end event production

Lead concept and development of programming

Own internal project planning and execution

Manage cross-functional workflows

and financial coordination

Act as escalation point for operational risks

Lead Bi-Weekly Events Planning meeting

Introduce and lead Store-Events Monthly Meeting

Serve as primary operational contact

Ensure execution standards are upheld

Identify process gaps and lead improvements

Train and support stores on execution

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Serve as the primary operational contact for authors, publishers, and cross-functional partners; Lead and chair the Bi-Weekly Events Planning meeting, driving alignment across the coordinator team and cross-functional partners; Introduce and lead the Store-Events Monthly Meeting, building a direct feedback loop between the events team and store leaders; Serve as the primary operational contact for Retail Ops, Loss Prevention, Finance & Accounting, General Managers, Store Events Leaders, Creative, Marketing, and Merchants; Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams and functions

Communication Scope

Excellent written and verbal communication; Confident presenting to stakeholders and executives; Proactively communicate timelines, risks, and deliverable status

Process & Methodology

Translate strategic direction into clear execution frameworks, project plans, and delivery timelines, Own internal project planning and execution, Manage cross-functional workflows, delivery standards, and operational SLAs
