Full Job Description

_**Project**_ The **Woodfibre LNG** Project is located approximately 7 km west-southwest of Squamish, British Columbia. It involves the construction and operation of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility on the previous Woodfibre pulp mill site, which would have a storage capacity of 250,000 m3 and would produce approximately 2.1 million tons per year of LNG. **Woodfibre Management Ltd.** is a privately held Canadian company based in Vancouver and a subsidiary of Pacific Energy Corporation Limited. __ _**Position**_ The **Manager, Emergency Management** is an integral part of Woodfibre LNG’s Health, Safety and Security team. The successful candidate reports directly to the Director, Health, Safety & Security and will lead the Company’s emergency management program through construction, commissioning, start-up and operations. The role is responsible for administering the current construction-phase emergency management program and developing the emergency management program required for the operating LNG facility. This includes emergency response plans, procedures, training, exercises, response facilities, call-out and escalation processes, action tracking and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will have strong emergency management experience in a complex operating environment. Experience in LNG, oil and gas or energy would be an asset, but is not mandatory. Knowledge of HSS management systems is also an asset, particularly where those systems support emergency preparedness, incident management, training, assurance and corrective action tracking. _**Key Responsibilities**_**:** The successful applicant will: * Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Woodfibre LNG emergency management program. * Administer the construction-phase emergency management program, including plans, procedures, training, exercises, records, action tracking and readiness monitoring. * Develop emergency management plans, procedures, checklists
