What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, or STEM-related discipline, plus 9 years of experience or a master’s degree plus 7 years of experience in engineering, and/or engineering program/project management., U. S. Citizenship and a current/active Secret Clearance and be able to obtain approval for special program access., Demonstrated success in a project leadership role as an IPT Lead or program manager leading a team of 10 or more engineers., Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM) supporting the Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Working knowledge of risk and opportunity management, Familiarity with organizational processes, roles, tools and facilities related to hardware design, development, test and/or production and/or production test design at the NGMS BWI facility., Experience supporting proposals and Basis of Estimates (BOEs)., Experience briefing NG customers and executive management., Available onsite at the BWI facility during first shift
Nice to Have
Demonstrated success leading large high-performing teams as an IPT Lead and CAM through design, development and/or transition to production at NGMS BWI., working knowledge of the factory and engineering/production test., Experience with the Root Cause Correction Action (RCCA) process, Fluency with developing and executing project schedules, Experience managing products in the critical path of a program, PMP certification a plus, Active and current Top Secret government clearance a plus
