Must Have
Suitable tertiary qualifications, Experience or a interest in financial advisory in a professional services environment, Experience in a banking environment (e. g. , credit analyst) within Project Finance, Securitisation / Structure Finance, or Leverage Acquisition Finance businesses, Communication, report writing and presentation skills suitable for client / marketing delivery, An appetite and enthusiasm for corporate finance with a work ethic and a motivation to achieve best outcomes for clients, KPMG, and yourself, Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to support client & project data needs, A team mindset with a willingness to learn, attention to detail and the ability to work to timelines

What You'll Do.
leading complex financing engagements
providing independent strategic advice to corporate and private equity clients on their capital structures
bridging the gap between borrowers and various financial markets
developing financial models
providing financial analysis of your modelling
Providing financial analysis for complex transactions across a variety of sectors
Supporting the delivery of transactions
supporting our recommendations to clients
Assisting with the preparation of engagement deliverables including funding options reports
information memorandums
term sheets and other detailed PowerPoint reports and presentations

Full Job Description
Our Debt Advisory team supports organisations to make sound financial and capital structuring decisions. We work closely with our clients to provide independent advice on financing options and strategy and then support their capital raising activities in the market, including preparation of supporting materials and direct negotiations with financiers. Our Debt Advisory team focuses on providing independent financial advisory services and financing options across a range of transactions, including (amongst others): * Medium to large corporate borrowers seeking to raise, refinance or consider options for raising debt. * Project finance transactions across the mining, infrastructure and energy industries. * Securitisation, non-bank issuers and financial services companies. * Leverage Finance transactions with private equity sponsors. * Advice for government related organisations associated with debt or debt-like instruments. Our team has the capability to deliver funding solutions from multiple capital providers including bank and non-bank lenders, and we are heavily involved in the preparation of supporting materials and direct negotiations with financiers to support our clients’ capital raising activities in the market.
