Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Training and Development, Vocational Assessment, Counseling, Education, Social Work, or related area., Three (3) years of work experience in training and development, and/or adult learning principles with broad knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and course content construction, continuing education, instructional design, or related., Advanced knowledge of federal programs in this area, along with grant writing and monitoring skills., Excellent interpersonal, communication, time and project management, and organizational skills., Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with other members of the college and community, displaying cultural competence as well as emotional intelligence., Demonstrated commitment to the college’s core values of respect and inclusion, sustainability, integrity, collaboration, humor and well-being, innovation, and quality.

What You'll Do.
Managing the concurrent development and delivery of multiple
customized training programs for a variety of businesses and organizations.
Meeting grant guidelines and performance measures under grants awarded to the Center for Continuing Education.
Implementing grant funding to help business and industry offset the cost of training programs.
Utilizing grant funds to develop new programs for the community through short-term training initiatives.
Managing human resources for hiring program coordinators.
Coordinating logistics of soft skills workshops and classroom design.
Implementing advertising strategies.
Supervising current instructors and internal staff.
Developing individual training plans for new hires.
Developing training specifications.
Writing complete training proposals.
Consulting with district businesses on JJC and CCE programs.
Marketing and selling corporate education services and credit hour courses.
Assessing and securing staff
