What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in project management, construction, and real estate in general, University degree or college diploma in a related field, knowledge of construction methods, materials, practices, procedures and building codes, Understand construction terms, scheduling, planning concepts, construction contracts (including CCDC2, CCDC5B and indemnity), Bilingual French and English verbal and written communication, analytical skills and attention to detail, with an ability to solve problems, An assertive self-starter with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision, Good computer skills with intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Project

Proven ability to budget, build relationships, and prioritize on multiple construction projects, Great interpersonal and collaborative skills
What You'll Do.
Manage assigned construction projects from conception to completion
Validate and manage budgets for assigned projects
Coordinate with consultant team for drawings and specifications
Prepare RFP documents for consultants and contractors
Attend consultant and construction meetings
Review project plans and specifications
Coordinate municipal permit process
Track all project budgets and costs
Review and monitor change order costs
Review monthly progress draws and invoicing
Conduct site visits for planning and supervision
Manage project close-out process
Prepare cost estimates and budgets for leasing deals
Oversee tenant work in accordance with Lease

This role is a current 12‑month contract vacancy on the Allied team. ## Purpose The focus of this position is to manage the planning and execution of Capital, Base Building, Landlord’s Work and Tenant’s Turnkey projects. As a Manager, Construction, you will oversee a range of tenant improvements and capital projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. Reporting to the Senior Director, Technical Services, you will collaborate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and tenants to lead project execution from design through to close-out.
