What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field, 10+ years of experience in trade surveillance, compliance, financial crime, or market risk (crypto or traditional markets), 3+ years in leadership role within a bank, regulator, or similar financial institution, Effective management and leadership skills, Delivery and monitoring of key risk/management indicators, delivery of management reporting, Working knowledge of crypto asset classes (spot, futures, perpetuals, options), tokenomics, and exchange mechanics, data analysis skills with advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, large dataset handling), Understanding of blockchain fundamentals and transaction flows

Nice to Have

Experience with crypto analytics tools (e. g. , Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic), Experience with market data platforms, Familiarity with trading surveillance systems and alerting frameworks in digital asset markets, interest in crypto markets, DeFi, payments infrastructure, and evolving regulatory landscapes, Ability to interpret complex trading behaviors and clearly articulate findings in written and verbal formats, communication skills with the ability to present insights and recommendations to stakeholders, Proven ability to manage multiple investigations/projects in a fast-paced environment, Collaborative mindset with experience working across global, cross-functional teams, Relevant certifications (e. g. , CAMS, CFA, FRM) or crypto-specific credentials are a plus

Track and assess crypto market-moving events (e. g.

regulatory announcements

exploits/hacks) and provide contextual “market color” to support trade surveillance reviews

Investigate trading alerts and escalations flagged by internal teams

Conduct deep-dives into trading activity around major crypto events such as token launches

and cross-exchange price movements

Participate in and lead initiatives to strengthen surveillance frameworks

and overall compliance posture in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment

**_Job Family_ :** GIC Process (India) **_Travel Required_ :** None ** _Clearance Required_ :** None ** _What You Will Do_ :** As the Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading, motivating and overseeing the day-to-day management of a team of Leads, Assistant Managers and Trade Surveillance Analysts.
