What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of experience in real estate finance, A bachelor’s degree is required in Finance, Business, Real Estate, Economics, or related field, Experience supporting development projects throughout the entire lifecycle from conception through completion, Dynamic verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal abilities, analytical and quantitative skills, with excellent financial acumen and high proficiency with real estate underwriting and real estate finance concepts, Demonstrated knowledge of the market dynamics within assigned region

Driving value and performance across a diverse real estate portfolio
Overseeing the development and execution of asset management strategies
Optimizing financial performance
Leading cross-functional teams to achieve investment goals
and identifying new investment opportunities
Preparing and presenting financial proposals
Overseeing the take-over and transition of new properties
Maintaining and managing client equity relationships and satisfaction
Developing market and asset reviews
Managing and ensuring portfolio compliance with debt and equity providers
Monitoring investment performance
Recommending methods to optimize returns
and reporting on portfolio performance against budget and investment proforma
Managing and monitoring cash flow
Making strategic recommendations on asset capitalization
Preparing monthly and quarterly client portfolio/performance reports
and capital trends and factors impacting portfolio performance
Participating in formulating the long-term disposition and exit strategy for assets
Developing and leading revenue-enhancing and expense containment programs and initiatives at the property level
Monitoring resident turnover and satisfaction indicators
Identifying and acting on opportunities to drive operational excellence
Interacting with Development and Construction regarding asset delivery
warranty items or capital improvement initiatives
Leading and evaluating a team of direct reports

Works in partnership with our development team in Northern California; Leads cross-functional teams to achieve investment goals; Maintains and manages client equity relationships and satisfaction; Provides reports to investment committee and equity partners; Prepares and delivers presentations and updates to investment committee/equity partners; Interacts with Development and Construction regarding asset delivery, warranty items or capital improvement initiatives; Leads and evaluates a team of direct reports including Analysts, Associates and Managers
