What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of experience in real estate finance, Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, Economics, or related field, Experience supporting development projects throughout the entire lifecycle from conception through completion, Dynamic verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal abilities, analytical and quantitative skills, with excellent financial acumen and high proficiency with real estate underwriting and real estate finance concepts
What You'll Do.
Oversee the development and execution of asset management strategies
Optimize financial performance
Lead cross-functional teams to achieve investment goals
and identify new investment opportunities
Prepare and present financial proposals
Oversee the take-over and transition of new properties
Maintain and manage client equity relationships and satisfaction
Provide detailed reports
and financial analysis on portfolio performance
Address client concerns
Develop market and asset reviews to evaluate operational and financial results
Present recommendations
plans and strategies for enhancing value and improving financial returns
Ensure portfolio compliance with debt and equity providers
Develop and provide reports to investment committee and equity partners
Monitor investment performance
Recommend methods to optimize returns at the asset and portfolio level
and report on portfolio performance against budget and investment proforma
Manage and monitor cash flow
Make strategic recommendations on asset capitalization
Prepare monthly and quarterly client portfolio/performance reports
and capital trends impacting portfolio performance
Prepare and deliver presentations and updates to investment committee/equity partners
Participate in formulating the long-term disposition and exit strategy for assets
Develop and lead revenue-enhancing and expense containment programs and initiatives at the property level
Monitor resident turnover and satisfaction indicators
Identify and act on opportunities to drive operational excellence to enhance value
Interact with Development and Construction regarding asset delivery
warranty items or completion of capital improvement initiatives
Lead and evaluate a team of direct reports
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work in partnership with our development teams in Seattle, Portland and West Canada; Lead cross-functional teams to achieve investment goals; Provide reports to investment committee and equity partners; Prepare and deliver presentations and updates to investment committee/equity partners; Interact with Development and Construction regarding the delivery of assets, warranty items or completion of capital improvement initiatives; Lead and evaluate a team of direct reports including Analysts, Associates and Managers
