What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5 years of accounting and finance experience, 3 years in Australian accounting and taxation, knowledge of payroll, GST, and statutory reporting requirements, Comfortable managing all aspects of finance independently, from operational to strategic
Nice to Have
familiarity with Zero is a plus
What You'll Do.
Maintain daily bookkeeping records and perform account reconciliations
Manage payroll processes
and statutory reporting requirements
Prepare management reports
and analyses to inform decision-making
and all other day-to-day finance operations
Execute ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks as required
Ensure accurate and timely recording in accounting software (MYOB
client transitioning to Xero)
Lead small finance-related projects independently to improve processes or implement new tools
Identify opportunities to streamline operations and improve reporting efficiency
