What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Fully or part Qualified Accountant, Experience in both the production of management accounts and implementation of processes, Experienced in accounts preparation, including journals, accruals, prepayments, depreciation and income deferral, Experience of working in a busy environment with attention to detail, Commercially aware, A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement, knowledge of MS packages, including advanced Excel (pivot tables, v-look ups) and Word, Experience using Sap, Effective communication skills, The ability to work towards deadlines under pressure, Driven and eager to work within fixed guidelines
What You'll Do.
Accounting of Fixed Asset and Leasing functions
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Investigation and explanation of variances
Reconciling and pre-empting any issues
Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Continuous improvement of current procedures
Maximise revenue by highlighting and investigating assets
Preparation of cash flow forecasts
Assisting with group reporting packs
Assist with the external audits
Assist with annual budgeting and regular forecasts
Develop and mentor Finance team members
