## **Job Description** **Malaysia Country Sales Manager** **Reports To:** Regional Sales Director (Instruments) **Location:** Malaysia **Primary Function** The Malaysia Country Sales Manager is the national business leader responsible for driving sustainable, profitable growth across Agilent’s full portfolio—encompassing instruments, services, chemistries, and workflow solutions. This role provides strategic direction for the Malaysia market, shaping multi‑year growth strategies while building a high‑performing, customer‑centric commercial organization. The position requires strong strategic acumen, deep market insight, and the ability to translate evolving customer and industry trends into impactful “Go‑To‑Market” (GTM) strategies. The leader will strengthen Agilent’s market position, elevate operational and commercial excellence, and champion a cohesive, inclusive culture across Malaysia. **Key Responsibilities** **1\. Strategic Business Leadership** * Own Malaysia’s P&L and develop holistic growth strategies across customer segments, channels, and product portfolios. * Formulate and execute a 3–5 year strategic plan aligned with APAC regional priorities, with clear targets for market share, margin expansion, and order growth. * Future‑proof Malaysia’s GTM model by incorporating macro trends, including regulatory shifts, digital adoption, competitive dynamics, and talent evolution. * Strengthen Agilent’s strategic relevance and influence with Malaysian government agencies, research institutes, and industry bodies. **2\.
