What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain management, or related operational roles (JL5), Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain management, or related operational roles (JL4), Experience managing permanent staff and operational teams (JL5), Experience supervising teams or casual labor workforces (JL4), Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, Computer skills and experience using digital inventory systems, Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, Minimum Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Operations, Supply Chain, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Agriculture, Science, Logistics, or a related field, High levels of integrity, accountability, and professionalism, Willingness to work in rural operational locations, Must be a citizen or permanent resident of Malawi
Nice to Have
Experience using ERP systems such as SAP Business One is an advantage, Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is an advantage
What You'll Do.
Oversee or support all warehouse activities
Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of agricultural input
Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock counts
Implement and maintain FIFO inventory management practices
Ensure warehouse space is utilized efficiently
Ensure products are stored appropriately
Maintain accurate inventory records within WMS and other
Investigate inventory discrepancies and support reconciliation processes
Ensure all stock movements are recorded accurately and
Support or lead monthly inventory reconciliation and reporting
and support warehouse staff and casual
Allocate tasks and monitor productivity to ensure operational
Promote a culture of accountability
and training of warehouse personnel
Ensure compliance with warehouse safety standards
and hazard-free warehouse environment
Conduct regular safety checks and implement corrective actions
Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements
Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency
Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy
Identify opportunities to improve operational performance
Prepare and review operational reports and performance metrics
Support implementation of new warehouse processes
Support implementation of new warehouse systems
Support implementation of new warehouse best practices
Participate in cross-functional initiatives to strengthen supply chain
