What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years in maintenance and reliability, Experience in managing a maintenance department for a manufacturing environment, Experience in maintenance reliability, preventative maintenance, condition-based monitoring, and root cause problem elimination techniques, Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Software applications (i. e. , Excel, Word, etc.), Capacity to solve problems through creative, innovative solutions and challenge traditional methods of accomplishing tasks, Demonstrated experience in setting expectations for staff in a manufacturing environment, Ability to learn and apply Ingredion’s Safety, Quality, and Financial Safety standards, Ability to communicate across functional lines and at all levels, communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to evaluate personnel needs/effectiveness and implement effective development activities for salaried reports, Ability to understand and integrate technical and business needs into all activities, Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage contractors
Nice to Have
Reliability preferred, CMRP certification is desirable, Knowledge of the SAP system as it pertains to maintenance and budgeting is a plus, Use of KPIs for decision making and corrective action

Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Optimize spare parts inventory
Ensure compliance with standards
Manage unit maintenance budget
Oversee contractor selection and performance
Implement improvements to maintenance management practices
Drive cost control and reduction programs
Facilitate root cause problem elimination sessions
Oversee safety and quality of contractor work
Review workload and manpower skills
Lead reliability and condition-based monitoring efforts
Support performance management activities

Partner closely with Operations, Reliability, Procurement, and Engineering; Collaborate with procurement, reliability, and engineering; Work with contractor leaders; Maintain an atmosphere of teamwork and joint accountability with production units; Build consensus in a positive manner with customers, suppliers, and team members; Work closely with Operations; Participate in cross-functional meetings and project reviews; Lead cross-functional teams
