Must Have
1 or more years experience in mechanical maintenance, 1 or more years experience in industrial equipment repair, 1 or more years experience in aerospace ground support equipment, Proficiency in using torque wrenches, Proficiency in using hex bit tools, Proficiency in using gauges, Proficiency in using mechanical inspection instruments, Ability to read and interpret maintenance plans, Ability to read and interpret SOPs, Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, Experience with crane operations, Experience with critical lifts, Attention to detail, Documentation accuracy, Familiarity with corrosion prevention, Familiarity with seal inspection/replacement, Familiarity with mechanical troubleshooting, Ability to work safely around heavy equipment, Ability to comply with PPE requirements, Ability to comply with hazard control measures, 18 years or older, Ability to understand job requirements, Ability to adhere to job requirements, Ability to understand safety guidelines, Ability to adhere to safety guidelines
Nice to Have
Crane operations certification preferred, Aerospace ground support equipment experience, Satellite ground support equipment experience, Knowledge of ITAR/EAR compliance requirements, Prior experience in a warehouse environment, Prior experience in a production environment, Experience performing precision leak checks, Experience performing hardware torque verification
What You'll Do.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on shipping fixtures
Conduct thorough inspections of structural integrity
Conduct thorough inspections of welds
Conduct thorough inspections of fasteners
Conduct thorough inspections of seals
Conduct thorough inspections of decals
Operate heavy lifting equipment
Remove fixture components
Inspect fixture components
Reassemble fixture components
Clean interior surfaces
Clean exterior surfaces
Apply corrective actions for seal damage
Perform temporary repairs
Inspect critical components
Maintain critical components
Verify proper installation of hardware
Verify functionality of hardware
Document work performed
Update maintenance tracking sheets
Change fixture readiness status indicators
Follow all safety procedures
Adhere to ESD protection requirements
