About this role: The Roving Maintenance Technician plays a very important role in the organization by providing excellent resident services in addition to performing various maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community. Supports and aids the Community Manager in all phases of the overall physical maintenance of an income-producing property. This includes but is not limited to; the general maintenance of the property, expense control, and adherence to preventive maintenance programs and required state and federal safety programs. This position requires exercising independent judgment, executing and developing solutions to problems, and diplomatically implementing decisions made by management. The day-to-day responsibilities of the Maintenance Representative will vary depending on the needs of the direct supervisor. The representative must have reliable transportation. Hourly rate of pay: $26.00 - $28.00 DOE What you’ll do - Includes but are not limited to: Perform all aspects of property maintenance, including preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance under the supervision of the Community Manager. Perform appliance, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, pool, custodial, and carpentry work as necessary. Ensure exterior curb appeal of the community and cleanliness of grounds. Walks the property several times a day and picks up new debris, including pet waste. Ensures pet stations are stocked and emptied at all times.
