permanent night shift, 10 hour shifts, 4 days per week
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Formal Trade Qualifications, Certificate lll in Electrotechnology, current electrical trade license, Cert lll in Engineering, Mechanical Trade (Fitter/Turner), equivalent trade qualifications recognised in Australia, Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems, Experience fault finding within Material Handling Equipment/Automation systems, Ability to read and understand electrical /mechanical drawings, Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters, Experience of working to appropriate health & safety standards and regulations
Nice to Have
Experience with CMMS systems, Experience with sortation machines, Experience with maintaining/configuring bar code scanners, Experience with print and apply machines
What You'll Do.
Complete proactive and preventative maintenance on site equipment
Diagnose and repair equipment faults
Implement long-term solutions to reduce future downtime
Use specialized tools to maximize equipment effectiveness
Follow and promote Health & Safety standards
Respond quickly to machinery issues
Carry out planned preventative maintenance
Respond promptly to breakdowns
Investigate machinery issues
Find machinery solutions
Implement machinery solutions
Make suggestions for long-term improvements
Undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks
Perform general building maintenance
