ensure the physical integrity and exceptional appearance of an active adult community; maintain the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality; supporting a vibrant, safe, and welcoming environment that enhances the lifestyle experience of active adult residents; service requests can be appropriately documented and tracked; keep the property in good repair

diagnosing the source or cause of the defect or problem; fixing rather than replacing parts when possible
consistent Saturday work schedule, taking “call” during evenings, weekends, and holidays, stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas, work inside and outside in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, sleet), push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty-five (25) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance, Rare or regular travel may be required to assist other properties as needed, attend training classes, business meetings, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position, work a flexible work schedule
What You'll Do.
performing technical and mechanical maintenance to ensure the physical integrity and exceptional appearance of an active adult community
completing assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service
completing preventative maintenance on the property
diagnosing the source or cause of the defect or problem
completing the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins
following procedures for accessing and obtaining materials
and other items from the property’s maintenance department
assisting in maintaining the grounds
supporting cost-cutting and expense control programs
complying with Greystar’s safety and risk-management policies
periodically inspecting work performed by contractors
vendors and other service providers
assisting in conducting routine and periodic property inspections to identify safety and risk management concerns
communicating concerns about the physical needs of the property to management
following established policies and procedures
monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
organizational standards
and operational processes
practicing proper safety techniques
reporting accidents and incidents promptly and accurately
identifying areas for improvement and offering suggestions to improve efficiency and productivity
keeping abreast of current changes in technology
and standards within the industry and area(s) of responsibility
