Maintenance Technician II | Job Overview As Maintenance Technician II, you will handle work orders independently, assist with preventative maintenance, and support day-to-day upkeep across the community. This role requires HVAC certification and a working knowledge of routine repairs. Maintenance Technician II | Education, Experience, and License Qualifications Education: High School or GED equivalent Experience: Two years of apartment maintenance experience preferred Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver's License EPA/ HVAC Certification CPO Certification is a plus Maintenance Technician II | Job Functions Repair & Preventative Maintenance Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner. Assure all service requests are completed by Hawthorne standards. Repair and restore vacant apartments to make ready status in preparation for the next move-in as per company standard. Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning. Completion of preventative maintenance according to the guidelines outlined in company policy. Maintaining Building & Grounds Perform building and common area upkeep daily. Assist in keeping ground neat and free of litter, debris, and pet waste.
