Full Job Description
## Description Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations by ensuring the optimal performance of production equipment and facilities. This role involves performing complex repairs, conducting preventive and predictive maintenance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability. ## Key Responsibilities Perform installation, repair, overhaul, and maintenance of electronic, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical machinery and equipment. Conduct predictive and preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems. Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues, including PLC programming and relay logic. Fabricate tools, fixtures, and replacement components as needed to support in-house repairs and equipment modifications. Install and commission new and used equipment. Inspect, dismantle, and reassemble machinery to identify and resolve issues such as wear, misalignment, or component failure. Modify computer-controlled motion systems, including robotic components. Collaborate with Production Engineers to revise mechanical designs and improve system performance. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation. Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating process efficiency and recommending ergonomic or mechanical enhancements. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. ## Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Journeyman card or equivalent hands-on maintenance experience required (this is not an apprenticeship role). Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience preferred. Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and repairing automation systems, including PLCs and electronic circuitry.
