Due to growth and investment in our people and our facilities we are currently looking for a highly motivated, well organized and results focused Maintenance Technician for the Day Shift for our Production facility in Canton Ohio, USA. In this position you will: * Work on Day Shift schedule, from Mon-Thru 5.00am-3.30pm (4/10s) * Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment. * Maintain, troubleshoot, and conduct preventative maintenance * Work with conveyors, automated and robotics systems, * Repair or replace defective mechanical and electrical machinery parts * Fabricate parts when required/requested * Program PLCs and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems * Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints * Coach Machine Operators on troubleshooting techniques ## Requirements Your Priorities and Skills * Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment. Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts * Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair the machine * Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery as a part of the Preventative Maintenance Procedures * Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment * Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment * Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers _ _ Basic Requirements * High School Diploma or GED * Proven working experience as a mechanic in a production company or related * Ability to read technical specifications and drawings * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow i
