This position will support our facility in Hitchcock, TX. nVent is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered metal buildings for industrial and commercial applications. We design, manufacture, market, install and service high performance products and solutions for mission-critical equipment, buildings and essential processes. Offering both prefabricated and on-site building capabilities, framed and frameless building construction types, and products ranging from build kits and modular units to fully engineered integrated buildings. Maintenance Technician- MUST HAVE: * Ability to perform ongoing facility maintenance and report on equipment; including machinery, building, and structures. * Includes inspection of buildings and equipment and systems (heating and cooling, water) according to safety standards. * Perform installation, maintenance, and repair across facility, including HVAC, pipe, and electrical systems. * Use of various hand tools, power tools, and equipment. * At least 3-5 years of facility maintenance experience preferred. * Team Player, ability to work by yourself and with others. * Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness to ensure quality. * Able to multitask and adapt to frequent changes, delays, or unexpected challenges with projects * Strong attention to detail. * Must be willing to work overtime, as needed.
