What You'll Do.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks on processing equipment
according to established schedules and procedures.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and system failures
and perform corrective maintenance and repairs in a timely and effective manner.
Assist with the installation
and repair of mechanical
and pneumatic systems.
Assist in the maintenance and repair of mobile equipment
Inspect equipment for defects
and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
Operate a variety of hand and power tools
as well as diagnostic equipment
to perform maintenance tasks.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
including work orders
equipment inspections
Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations
environmental standards
and company policies.
Assist in the management of spare parts inventory
ensuring that items used are properly checked out. Critical parts are readily available.
Document all maintenance activities accurately and completely in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Participate in safety meetings
and emergency response drills.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance and Automation Manager.
