The **Maintenance Technician****** is responsible for the day-to-day inspections, documentation, and coordination of our underground Geotechnical and Safety programs. Perform assigned general maintenance services. Time allocation: geotechnical and safety programs - 5% and general maintenance _**RESPONSIBILITIES:**_ * Reports to and works under the Director of Operations. * Maintain and manage monthly and quarterly geotechnical safety readings through instrumentation and Excel data entry. * Coordinates safety inspections in all our tenant facilities and common areas on an annual basis. Mapping and documentation of each inspection area is required. * Perform manual scaling of the ceilings and coordinate with the maintenance staff for assistance as needed. * Maintain communication and assist with mining consultant when visiting the premises. * Ability to coordinate and work with Geotechnical project contractors. * Implement specific safety programs as directed. * Perform and/or assist with general maintenance assignments as directed. **_QUALIFICATIONS:_** * 2+ years of experience in a maintenance technician role, preferably in an underground or industrial environment.
