Must Have

High school diploma or equivalent (GED), 1-2 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities operations, or related field, Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical systems, Ability to read and interpret basic equipment manuals, work orders, and safety procedures, Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in varying environmental conditions, Valid driver's license with clean driving record, Ability to respond to emergency situations and work flexible hours when needed

Nice to Have

Trade school training or coursework in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related discipline, EPA Universal certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months, Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), Basic computer skills including email and data entry, OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification, Experience working in commercial office buildings, healthcare facilities, or institutional environments, customer service orientation and professional communication skills

What You'll Do.

Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC

and mechanical systems according to established schedules

Respond to and complete work orders for minor repairs

and basic troubleshooting of building equipment

Conduct regular inspections of facility systems and equipment

recording readings and reporting any abnormalities to supervisors

Replace consumable items such as filters

and other parts to maintain optimal system performance

Assist senior technicians and operating engineers with larger repair projects

equipment installations

Maintain accurate documentation of completed maintenance activities

Support a safe work environment by following all safety protocols

properly storing materials

and keeping work areas clean and organized
