**Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!** # Responsibilities: * **Ensure Peak Performance** : Maintain equipment functionality to the highest standards, including preventive maintenance and managing breakdowns of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, controls, robotic equipment, and software programming. * **Install and Improve** : Install, maintain, improve, and repair equipment, plant services, and building installations. Oversee contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. * **Promote Safety** : Adhere to safety protocols, local, site, and regional standards while troubleshooting and repairing equipment. Follow department procedures and standard work practices. * **Collaborate for Success** : Work with operations and engineering teams to ensure equipment meets desired capabilities. Act as a liaison with Original Equipment Manufacturers and third-party vendors for parts and services. * **Optimize Downtime** : Coordinate with business unit managers and engineers to schedule downtime for planned projects, preventive maintenance, and unplanned repairs. * **Troubleshoot and Solve** : Respond to breakdowns by identifying root causes, suggesting solutions, and providing options to management. Focus on minimizing downtime. * **Proactive Protection** : Identify and escalate any activities that could cause harm or damage to production.
