About the Role The Maintenance Technician ensures apartment homes and property facilities are safe, clean, and in good working order. Responsibilities include preparing units for move-in, performing general maintenance and repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and locks, and following a preventative maintenance schedule.   The role also includes ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, and company standards, providing excellent service to residents, and supervising or escorting contractors as directed by the Facilities Manager. ## Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repairs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, drywall, painting, basic carpentry, and routine upkeep to maintain community standards Prepare vacant apartments for move-in by completing turnover repairs, inspections, and improvements Conduct routine and periodic property inspections to identify maintenance, safety, and risk management concerns, ensure the property remains in good repair, and report physical needs or issues to management Assist with inventory management by tracking, organizing, and maintaining maintenance supplies, tools, and replacement parts Maintain working kn
