What They're Looking For.
Must Have
three to five years of mechanical and electrical maintenance experience, knowledge of ship terminology, knowledge of safety, knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, basic to intermediate level Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook experience, ability to read and understand blueprints, knowledge of the safe operation and use of hand and power tools, ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, ability to read a tape measure, ability to work above ground at heights of a minimum of 50 feet aloft, ability to work from scaffolding and/or man-lifts, ability to work within confined spaces, ability to withstand extreme heat and cold in an outside climate or confined space, physically and medically qualified to wear all required personal protective equipment
Nice to Have
working knowledge and experience of operating overhead cranes, welding experience
What You'll Do.
Preventative and Corrective Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance
troubleshoot and make repairs on production equipment
Read schematics for electric
and pneumatic and make repairs and installations off those
Fill out reports on work performed
keep track of production down times as well as repair times
Troubleshoot and repair Ethernet and Device Net systems
Repair overhead cranes and hoists
Repair tools and ancillary production equipment
Repair CNC Plasma equipment as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
