_**Job Requisition**_ JR23809 _**Worker Time Type**_ Full time _**Worker Sub-Type**_ Regular ** _Shift_** ** _Job Description_** ** _POSITION PURPOSE:_** This role accelerates business value by responsibilities for the reliable operation and maintenance of the plant’s manufacturing systems and physical property. Included activities are preventive maintenance, equipment trouble shooting, tool identification and usage, and small physical property repairs. Additional activities may also include operating equipment to continue to improve processing times and decrease downtimes. Demonstrates our “True North” attributes: voice of the customer, respect for the individual, no nonsense communication and utilization of facts, servant leadership and has a continuous improvement mindset in every facet of leadership and daily interaction. Leads, collaborates and demonstrates the lean principles and utilizes the lean methodologies and tools to facilitate continuous process improvements and value creation for our customers, employees and shareholders. Actively utilizes lean tools (VSM, Kaizen, A3, etc.) to inform and assess business opportunities to drive continuous improvement. Lead and participate in Kaizen and value stream mapping activities. **_DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:_** * Conduct preventive maintenance on production equipment; troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment. * May be responsible for operating processing machinery and reducing downtime of equipment in the facility. * Advanced understanding and application of blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation for the proper maintenance of manufacturing and facility equipment. * Basic understanding of water plant operations and maintenance to include the following equipment: Ice Makers, Compressors, Heat Exchangers, Ammonia and Freon Refrigeration Systems, Pumps, Condensers, and Compressors * Ensures that manufacturing equipment is functional and supplies are ready. * Ordering and inventory control of rep
