Diagnose problem or repair machine
2nd Shift, Wear appropriate PPE, Responsible for reporting work related injuries and near misses to supervision, Responsible for correcting or reporting unsafe conditions observed within the plant
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Five years of related experience in one or more of the following areas: Electrical maintenance including Industrial Equipment and Controls, Facility maintenance including HVAC, Mechanical repairs, Hydraulic and/or Pneumatic repairs, Welding/Fabrication, Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) of Silver or higher
Nice to Have
One year certificate from college or technical school, AA degree
What You'll Do.
Support production departments with preventative maintenance
Ensure mechanical equipment is predictable and maintained
Support production departments with movements of large tonnage chillers
Observe and follow all safety rules
Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment
Dismantle defective machines and equipment
Install new or repaired parts
Rigging and installation of machinery
Clean and lubricate shafts
Install and repair electrical apparatus
and maintain pipe systems
Repair and replace gauges
Repair and maintain physical structure of establishment
and/or repair programmable controls
Set up and operate machine tools
Operate cutting torch or welding equipment
Fabricate and repair counters
Read and interpret blueprints
Operate forklift and other maintenance equipment
Repair and maintain forklifts and related vehicles
Repair and maintain hand tools
Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment
Inspect cranes and hoist
Report work related injuries and near misses
Correct or report unsafe conditions observed
Consult with management
engineers and vendors

Discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers; Consults with management, engineers and vendors as needed
