## **Maintenance Technician l** **Location: Romeoville, IL** **9am to 5:30pm** **Pay: $ 27.00** **Job Purpose** Responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and facility assets within a logistics center while supporting safe operations and maintaining equipment quality. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Perform assisted and occasionally unassisted preventative maintenance and repairs on all equipment and building assets within the logistics center * Learn and support maintenance of conveyor systems using conveyor control software * Safely learn and work with electrical systems ranging from 24VDC to 480V 3-phase * Ability to assist with the removal and installation of equipment * Assist in maintaining all spare parts inventory * Learn and operate computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) * Maintain assigned tools and ensure they remain in good working condition * Maintain a clean and quality appearance of all equipment and facility assets * Follow all Lock Out-Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, including execution and recordkeeping * Meets all attendance policy and lead by example for all safety standards * Perform other duties as assigned by Management **Qualifications (Required)** * High school diploma or GED required * 1–3 years of industrial or commercial maintenance experience * Ability to replace and diagnose AC/DC electric motors, mechanical drives, and gearboxes under the guidance of an experienced technician * Basic mechanical repair experience and troubleshooting abilities to include bearings, chains, and belts **Skills & Knowledge** * Able to gain a working knowledge of hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, fire suppression systems, conveyor systems * Ability to learn conveyor systems using conveyor control software * Able to safely learn various electrical systems ranging from 24VDC to 480V 3phase * Capable of learning robotics and automation equipment * Ability to learn and operate computerized maintenance management softwar
