What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Completed Level 3 recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent (mechanical and/or electrical)
Nice to Have
HNC/HND, NVQ Level 4, or equivalent engineering qualification, NEBOSH, 18th Edition, PLC experience
What You'll Do.
Develop and manage a robust preventive maintenance program
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Implement process reliability systems and lead continuous improvement initiatives
Manage the procurement
and budget control of spare parts and consumables
Lead and support capital expenditure projects related to equipment upgrades
and plant improvements
Monitor and optimize the use of utilities such as electricity
Ensure plant compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate standards
and develop the maintenance team
Leading and developing a team of eight Maintenance Technicians
Embedding and continuously improving the Engineering TPM Maintenance Strategy
Managing breakdowns and planned maintenance activities
Developing and delivering a robust Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) strategy
Driving equipment reliability through optimisation
and performance monitoring
Managing engineering data systems and ensuring CMMS compliance and data integrity
Supporting engineering and capex projects
Owning maintenance budgets and controlling maintenance material spend
Managing contractors on site
Conducting risk assessments
Identifying and delivering continuous improvement and business improvement opportunities
