What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Experience in electrical engineering, Experience in mechanical engineering, English-language communication skills, Full Engineering indentured Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering, Relevant experience in technical leadership, Relevant experience in automation environments, Relevant experience in material handling environments
Nice to Have
Experience in multi-contractor environment, Experience in multi-site working environment, Understanding of PLC based controls, Understanding of statutory compliance requirements, Experience using CMMS, Degree in a technical discipline, Degree in operations
What You'll Do.
Demonstrate best practice using equipment safely
Monitor teams to ensure correct processes
Keep track of equipment performance
Schedule additional servicing when required
Supervise technicians on shift
Support technician development
Act as first point of contact
Solve issues in equipment
Reduce downtime for operations
Support finding ways to continually improve systems
Standardise processes across EU network
Lead a team ensuring production equipment runs safely
Coordinate preventative maintenance
Support rapid troubleshooting
Ensure compliance with safety procedures
Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability
Identify opportunities to improve equipment quality
Identify opportunities to improve equipment efficiency
Implement improvements across the site
Maintain equipment performing at its best
